“I had a sewage back up in my home at 3am Sunday morning. I called my home warranty company who wasn’t open at the time and had to call back hours later at which time they assigned a plumbing company to come out – which I never heard from until today (Tues).
“This was a very urgent matter so I called A1 Sewer and Drain Plumbing and Heating who advertised having 24hr emergency service. I got the answering service but one of their plumbers in Chesapeake immediately called me at 4:30 in the morning.
“The plumber gave me some advice on what to do as far as getting my warranty company to authorize them to come out to do the job so that I could be reimbursed what I would be paying out of pocket to them. The warranty company made me give the plumbing company they assigned to me 4 hours to respond before they would authorized A1 coming out. The company never responded, and in the end A1’s Chesapeake plumber came out.
“Throughout this time, I spoke with Carol at A1. She was very pleasant and eager to help me in my frantic situation. She really took the time to explain things to me, give me pointers and she just calmed me down and took some of the edge off.
“Once their plumber (John) got here, he immediately located the problem and got me up and running again, because before he got there, I was unable to use any water or toilets in my home. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. All and all this Chesapeake plumbing company seemed to be very honest and trustworthy. I felt comfortable with them and will definitely use them again and recommend them to family and friends.”
